Returning to Work

November 14, 2011

I met Carol Fishman Cohen at the National Military Spouse Network Summit – and she is dedicated to helping women get back to work; the women who took a break for family or illness or because of a move.  Does that sound familiar?  How many of us have had to “take a break” from our careers when we moved?  How about the spouses of wounded warriors who take a break to take care of them?  the iRelaunch Return to Work Conference is on November 30, and they are offering military spouses a discount!  Military spouses can attend for $50, instead of $160!  this includes breakfast, lunch, all the sessions, networking time, and copy of the book Back on the Career Track. that is one hot deal!  Go to the link below, and sign up.

See You There!

Sounds amazing! Any chance iRelaunch will do a virtual conference someday, so far-flung types can participate? I think that would be really valuable. In the meantime, enjoy this! It sounds like a great opportunity.

Kimba – That is a great idea and we’ve been looking into it but haven’t executed on it so far. We do offer our small group coaching workshop series, called iRelaunch Coaching Circles, virtually. They are a deeper dive into what we introduce at the conference. Topics are either Career Assessment (Circle A) or Job Search Tactics (Circle B). Because we involve a coach, and there are 4 sessions or about 7 hours of programming, we need to charge $299 for these so they are more expensive than the Conference. The least expensive way to access our strategies is to check out of the library or buy our book Back on the Career Track (it’s on amazon) and also sign up for iRelaunch (it’s free) so you can get our monthly newsletters which have a lot of information. Also check out the resources on http://www.iRelaunch.com.
