Month of the Military Family – Will You Tell Us About Yours?

November 1, 2011

Since everyone has a day or a month – the Military Family has November!   We here at LeftFace would love to highlight YOUR military family.  If you would like to guest blog here, please leave some contact info in the comment section and we will be in touch.  Now, remember, we are very careful proponents of OPSEC/PERSEC here in LeftFace Blog land.   We don’t want real names or addresses -nick names only please.  We want to hear about your military family – whether you are a parent or spouse or child of an Active Duty service member, or Guard Member; or the family member of a veteran.

Leave your info, we’ll be in touch ASAP!

Shoot, I really didn’t want to be the first commenter on here, but I am curious: what kind of posts are you looking for? We are living overseas, just wrapped up a deployment, and are readying for our next phase (after a recent promotion) back in the states next year. I can’t say my perspective is extraordinary or unique, but I have one! LOL!

I’m interested in possibly being a guest blogger. My husband is a Navy Submariner & I’m a Coast Guard vet. We’ve been married for almost five years, & we have two beautiful, amazing sons – ages three & eighteen months. The mister has been on the boat for nearly five years. We’ve made it through nine patrols (number ten is imminent). He left when our oldest was only four days old & he was underway when our youngest was born seven weeks premature. I’m confident I could come up with something to write about. lol
